For this week’s discussion, feel free to think a bit outside the box and approach it from the role you hope to have as an APRN in the future. The case is presented in the ED, but maybe you want to look at it as a PMHNP called in to consult in the ED, or as an FNP seeing her in outpatient follow up to the ED visit. We will all serve different roles in the future, but this patient and her concerns could present to us in many situations.
