Alluding to his nearing death, in a few months, Dr. Randy Pausch asserts that he does not want to become an object of the audience’s pity, rather, he invites them to observe that he is not morose about it. He is okay, strong and enjoying life. Through this, he pitches the main theme of his talk: how to live your life. Using personal examples he suggests that cherishing people than things, integrity, patience, gratitude and hard-work, while having fun with life, are the foundation to realizing one’s dreams. Simply, you have to live life in the right way but with energy, enthusiasm, lots of optimism, creativity and unending curiosity. This way, you will realize happiness.
