Discussion

In the past few years, healthcare has been changing. These changes have necessitated healthcare providers to change since their roles are also changing in many ways. Some of the factors that have contributed to these changes include an aging population and expanded access to healthcare due to the ACA. The expansion of the healthcare system has made it easier for people to access healthcare services (Brock, Powell, & Hinings, 2016). The role of technology in healthcare also means that various digital communication platforms are now being used by healthcare providers to reach some of their patients who live in remote places.
