Effects of market revolution on the society
Market revolution had various effects on societies the United States. On politics, the southern states wanted more policies that encouraged the expansion of slavery to be passed while the northern states were against slavery and any attempts to encourage it. The difference in opinion caused much political debate. Secondly, the market revolution had negative impacts on the society as it encouraged westward expansion which caused the displacement of the Native Americans from their lands. Lastly, market expansion had positive impacts on the economy as it did not only lead to the invention of new methods of farming and use of machines to make products but it also leads to the innovation of new and improved modes of transportation (Sklansky, 2017).
