There are a couple of stages a client takes to resolve DNS names. Once a DNS name resolution appeal is transmitted to a DNS server, the server scrutinizes its local DNS cache for the Internet Protocol address (IP address). Given that the IP address is isn’t in the DNS server’s store, it checks the file of its Hosts.  The Hosts file being a static text folder, it is not usually used. In the event that the DNS server is not commanding and aligned for transmitting, the DNS server sends the appeal to an advanced DNS server. If the DNS server is not able to transmit the request, or its transmission flops, the DNS server employs its Root Hint folder which is as well referred as Cache.dns. The Root Hint folder lists the thirteen root DNS servers.
