The primary reason of carrying out an investigation is to reconnoiter in a comprehensive way the claims, to evaluate the presented evidence in an extensive manner and to establish categorically, whether misconduct or a crime has been committed by the suspect, and if it is the case, the person who is responsible for the act  and the level of importance of the crime. The investigation seeks to explore further, whether there are other related crimes which have been committed.
