Midlife crises are frequent in the 21st Century due to the increased challenges in the social and economic lives of people. On the number five issue, Hider seems to have experienced many of his clients who are determined to make the wrong financial choices just to deal with midlife crises. Some couples have gone through a lot of challenges in their marriages, and when there are fewer chances left for them to mend their relationships, spending becomes an option. Men tend to take this particular direction of life to distract themselves, and Hider advice that excessive indulgence might lead to future challenges with finances as many of these individuals are no longer working.
