Small businesses contribute to the society in many ways. Despite their small size, there are millions of small businesses thereby offering an indication that they are the backbone of the economy. At the societal level, they offer the personal touch that is often lacking when members of the society are dealing with multinational corporations. Such a personal touch means that they are more likely to meet the needs of the people unlike some of the biggest firms across the world that have such a sense of touch and personalization missing.
