Zero-Sum-Game

The terms zero-sum game and non-zero-sum are generally applied in the description of game theory, economic theory, as well as in the portrayal of moral ethics and common interests or benefits among individuals. The difference between these two terms is based on winning and losing situations. In the zero-sum game situation, an individual’s gain/win is equal to another’ loss, meaning that there is no net benefit, which is the reason as to why it is termed as a zero-sum game.
