A final note
This paper is not about you. It is about the issue. Therefore, the following words and phrases do not belong in your essay: I me, myself, we, us, in my opinion, I think, I believe. Your paper is also not about your reader, and you do not know your reader personally; therefore, the following words do not belong in your essay either: you, your, you’re, yourself.

Technology has had a significant impact on people’s lives in the modern-day American society. Advancements in the communication sector have facilitated smooth and fast interactions. At the same time, individuals have access to high quality medical services due to availability of vast technologies in the industry. Moreover, persons can travel quickly and comfortably across the United States cities and the globe thanks to technology. Thus, people cannot live without technologies, like cell phones, computers, and televisions. While technological has numerous benefits, it is also a very controversial issue. There have been several incidents in which the use of technology has jeopardized people’s well-being. Such events have led to people being critical regarding the use of certain technologies.
