Cooperative Learning Methods

In the recent past, there has been a lot of research that has been conducted on some of the most effective teaching methods that should be applied by teachers in the classroom environment. The best strategies should be active and student-centered strategies. Examples include cooperative learning methods, active learning, and group projects. Some of the research that has been conducted has proven that when teachers use cooperative learning methods in the classroom, students tend to do all the work. The role of the teacher is reduced since the students do all the work (Slavin, 2016). Teachers need to continue using cooperative learning methods in the classroom since it has been proven to be very effective at meeting the various educational outcomes.
