300-500 Words Compare the Postmodern Art World (chapter 25) with the Postwar Modern Movements (chapter 24-such as Abstract Expressionism, Conceptual Art, Minimalism and Pop Art-).

The last two chapters of the assigned reading delve into Postwar Modern Movements and Postmodernity and Global Art respectively. From a closer assessment of the Postmodern Art World and the Postwar Modern Movements, there are many similarities and differences that can be observed. One of the major similarities is that both eras relate to the last one hundred years or so. These art movements are relatively young compared to other ancient forms of art that are discussed in the text. Due to their age, one may easily confuse the two unless they perform a deeper assessment to determine which one belongs to the right category. One of the major differences that can be observed between Postmodern Art World and Postwar Modern Movements is the role that is played by ideology in each of the movements.
