Genogram Analysis
Using GenoPro, or another Genogram program of your choice (conduct a Google search and you will find alternatives), complete a genogram on a friend, colleague, or neighbor. Make the genogram as complete as possible and do not use a family member. Look for any patterns of behavior within family system, especially if any relate to trauma. Provide treatment recommendations based on the genogram.
Alternative Assignment: If you are unable to use a computer-generated genogram program, you may prepare a video that shows you preparing the genogram by hand and explaining the relationship connections. This is in lieu of the GenoPro or another computerized genogram program. The narrative is required in addition to the video of the genogram or using GenoPro.
Write a short 250-500-word narrative about the patterns observed in the genogram. Include two peer-reviewed scholarly sources that are different from the ones provided in the course materials.
