Design a global health intervention
For my global health class, we are asked to design a global health intervention and analyze it through a Biosocial lens. Meaning that you need to describe the health problem of the area “the bio” and the social world of the place you are creating the global health intervention for. The logistics of the intervention should be clear and precise. Also include some unintended consequences of the intervention. Please make sure to hit the 2500-3000 word limit (Typically 11 pages) and also annotate the bibliography please! Below is the writing standard:
Each paper should clearly and accurately describe key features of:
– The health problem (the “bio”)
– The local moral world relevant to the health problem (the “social”)
– The logistics of the intervention
– How the intervention matches (or fails to match) the local moral world
– Any possible (if you are designing an intervention) or real-world (if you are analyzing an intervention) unintended consequences arising from the local moral world.
In addition, each paper will need to:
– Contain clear argumentation (the easy way to do this is for each section to have a clear thesis and concluding statements)
– Be well written (grammar, organization)
– Contain an annotated bibliography as outlined in the syllabus**
