Big data has become an essential component of the modern-day organization settings. Many firms are making their decisions on the basis of the collected and analyzed data on their operations. As a consequence, healthcare organizations have been integrating big data in their operations under a conceptual framework, which advances and coordinates the health research objectives and policy. However, the use of big data in hospitals is still a new area, thus requiring a greater action to be taken to ensure the approach does not compromise patients’ well-being.
