In a diverse setting, the different individuals might face the challenges of intercross cultural conflicts which arise because of the inability to understand each other or get the negative message from the other individual’s positive intensions. The Hispanic group makes up the largest minority in the US with a population of approximately 55.4 million (Ting-Toomey & Oetzel, 2002). These individuals therefore spread in all sectors of the economy making it hard to ignore their existence. In a study to examine the greatest challenges that the Hispanics face in their day to day activities, about 52% claimed that language and communication was their biggest challenge (Ting-Toomey & Oetzel, 2002). They were worried that the miscommunications they face around their environments especially while dealing with Americans affect their education, socialization and workplace comfort.
