Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is the transportation of people out of the country illegally and without their permission. Human trafficking is so widespread today but the amount of concentration that the government and the media put in this is something that leaves a lot of questions. What many people do not realize is that human trafficking is a form of modern slavery. Having watched the video, I am actually surprised by the little amount of attention human trafficking gets. What saddens me the most is that these people are taken away from their lives. They are forced to participate in sexual activities against their own will (Pattanaik, et al. 2015).
