Your Chief Information Officer (CIO) is concerned about the recent trend of devastating ransomware attacks that could cripple your organization. You have been asked to review your organization’s security policy to determine its readiness for a ransomware attack. You must provide at least two examples demonstrating how a particular ransomware attack has affected one or more organizations. In preparation of your review, you have been asked to identity the elements of a security policy and describe how those elements protect against such an attack. Write your paper in a memo format that you would submit to your CIO.
Discuss and cite at least three additional, credible or scholarly source other than the course textbooks to support your analysis and positions. Use Saudi Electronic University academic writing standards and APA style guidelines, citing references as appropriate. Your paper should be four to five pages in length.
You need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the materials. You also need to address the questions being asked. Also, you need to provide more depth in your responses to show thoroughly understand the concepts. More critical analysis and insight is needed throughout the paper. More original thought also needed. Try to remember each paragraph with the exception of intro and conclusion should have some type of citation form a scholarly sources (text book and most websites are not considered scholarly source and should not be part of the paper).
