Critical Thinking

In one incidence, I led a team in brainstorming ideas on how to get a new product to the market, which included developing an ideal marketing catchphrase with which the public would resonate. Among the ideas developed by the team included one that was a restatement of a catchphrase used by a competitor in the market. One of the primary arguments in support of using the phrase was that it would in effect help to win some customers who may try the product believing it to be that one produced by the competitor.
