Light is important to human existence because of its power of illuminating interior spaces. Light is also a symbol of God’s realm. The true Muslim therefore seeks to apply the transparency of light in the interior because there is no secret between God and Man. In the context of Islamic architecture Mosques are among the structures that use light the most. Arel, & Onar (2017). A well illuminated Mosques can be the best avenue to experience prayers that reach heaven. One that truly seeks light within the Islamic faith will naturally be drawn to Prayer, practice of charity to the poor, fasting during Ramadan, and a deliberate effort to make pilgrim to Mecca if financially capable.

Based on my findings, Islamic arts performance is enhanced by using light hence acting as a medium of decoration. Most of the structures that use light about Islamic art and architecture are Mosques (Al faruqi, 1985).
