            The documentary jazz is split into ten episodes capturing different material.in the first episode titled Gumbo presents the traces of the musical roots and culture which were developed in New Orleans bringing out an understanding of jazz evolution. The second episode titled Gift elaborates the magical music of that period beginning around the era of prohibition with a successful stock marketplace introducing Louis Armstrong as well as Duke Ellington and the growth of jazz in New York and Chicago metropolises. The third episode entitled Our Language, boomed the bands and individuals who supported the progression of jazz. The fourth episode was entitled the True Welcome.
