Leadership Traits in the American Civil War

            The American civil war commenced in 1861 after years of tension amongst the southern states better known as the Confederate and the northern states known as the Union. The tension was due to slavery issues since the Confederate wanted to continue with slavery while the Union wanted slavery to come to an end (Brinkley, 2015).
