Welcome to Week 6.

“Leaders view issues globally, create visions of what might be, inspire others, tolerate chaos and ambiguity, do not fear taking risks, and work with others in a more connected way (2014, p. 456).” A good leader will look at the entire situation, analyze the problem, collaborate with others, use past experiences, and utilize resources appropriately to come up with a new plan when the situation calls for it. It is these situations when good leadership shines. I look forward to hearing about your experiences and thoughts about nursing leadership.
