How does the use of social media interaction affect academic performance among students?

The purpose of this assignment is to do a Literature Review for my psychology research methods class. I have picked a topic on social media ie: Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, school programs, and how these positively or negatively affect the academic performance of students in the classroom. The professor has already okayed the topic and I do have to include the use of four educational sources. The sources have to be journals or articles.
