Mexican community in America

Mexican immigration is something that has come to be termed as a problem within the past decade and this is majorly due to the high numbers of immigrants coming into the United States. The number of Mexican immigrants was on the rise between 2010 and 201, but since then the numbers have drastically gone down and this has majorly been attributed to the presidential election that led Donald Trump coming into power (Lee, 2019). The Mexican population has been on the decline with current statistics showing that there are about eleven million Mexicans in the US. There are different factors lead to the massive Mexican migration that has been seen in the past and the core thing that leads to people moving to America both legally and illegally is the quest for the American Dream so that they can have a better life. The wide gap for low skilled laborers has led to many Mexicans coming into the US because they know that they will be able to get work easily and secure the opportunities which most locals view and trivial jobs.
