Movie Analysis
Students are to arrange on their own to watch the following movie title: An American
Crime (2007), directed by Tommy O’Hauer, and starring Elliot Page, Catherine Keener, and
Bradley Whitford. The movie should be available for free on Tubi TV and may also be
available for rent through other sources such as YouTube, Prime, Hulu, or Netflix, Peacock
etc. If you have difficulty locating the film, notify your professor immediately.
Following a review of the film, students are to compose a 350-500 critical essay that
compares and contrasts the characteristics of a child abuser shared in this module with those
witnessed in the film. Submit your final essay to the drop box, please include word count at
