Introduction

With the rate of degradation, the world is undergoing, there has risen the need to rehabilitate the environment. As such, there has been initiatives undertaken by both individuals and groups and are designed to upgrade the livelihood of humanity as well as upgrading the environment which takes the form of protection from human actions directed at destroying the environment. This paper analyzes briefly three of these initiatives in the history of humanity.
