Over the years, psychologists have been working to determine whether persons’ genetic or socio-cultural factors determine how they conduct their activities. The debate is yet to be concluded as scientific studies have revealed that both nature and nurture plays a vital role in people’s behavior. Individuals tend to be influenced by the social environments in which they live. Also, their genetic and physical attributes tend to determine their conduct. Accordingly, the nature versus nurture argument remains controversial because of the role that the two aspects play in people’s lives.
