Primary industries are responsible for retrieving and producing raw materials. It’s, therefore, the sector which deals with natural resources directly. Some of the primary industries include fishing, agriculture, mining, and forestry. This kind of industries is more effective in developing countries compared to industrialized countries. On the other hand, secondary industries are responsible for the transformation of raw materials to come up with finished goods. A good example is the manufacturing of steel to come up with cars or transforming textiles to make clothes.
