The decision to leave a particular place of employment, especially where such happens on a voluntary basis often follows the desire to achieve some development in one’s career, face different challenges, or a change in individual needs. As people develop in their careers, their needs evolve, which necessitates changes in workplaces if one’s current employer does not meet the needs in question. For instance, my first employer was especially important as he was able to meet my financial needs at the time. The compensation and benefits were good enough since my financial needs were just as minimal. However, the more time I spent at the company, the more complicated my financial needs became, resulting in the need for improvement in my qualification through further education and a consequent search for an opportunity that could match the newly acquired needs.
