The Era of Reconstruction
Time period
This was the time period after the civil war of between 1865-1877, whereby Abraham Lincoln commenced the plan reconstructing the south. This is because in process of the war the soldiers occupied the larger part of the south. He wanted this done in a haste by bringing the nations back to be united again. As a result, he gave his plan for uniting the people which had new reforms on doing away with slavery.
