  • Station PVC = Station PVI – L1/100 = 340 + 00 – 260/100

                        = 340 + 00 – (2.6) =340 + 00 – (300 – 40)

                        = 340 + 00 – 300 + 40 = 337 + 40

  • Station PVT = Station PVI + L2/100 = 340 + 00 + 2.6

                        = 340 + 00 (200 + 60) = 342 + 60

  • Elevation PVC = Elevation PVI – G1* L/2*100 = 1325 – 4 * 520/200

                        =1325 – 10.4 = 1314.6 ft

  • Elevation PVT = Elevation PVI + G2 * L/2*100

                        = 1325 + (-2.5 *520/200) = 1328.5 ft

y = ax2 + bx + c   and   dy/dx = 2ax + b = 0 => x= – b/2a
