When carrying out research, one of the most important steps is choosing the appropriate statistical tests. To determine the appropriate statistical test to compare data, it is required to have a fundamental grasp of statistical significance, as well as the kind of variables and how they are distributed. T-tests, analysis of variance, correlation, and regression are a few of the statistical approaches that may be applied during research to compare data. Other methods include analysis of covariance and correlation. “In terms of procedure, statistical analysis may be broken down into the following steps: (1) the formulation of a hypothesis, (2) the selection of an appropriate statistical test, (3) the performance of a power analysis, (4) the preparation of data for analysis, (5) the beginning with descriptive statistics, (6) the verification of the assumptions underlying tests, (7) the execution of the analysis, (8) the examination of the statistical model, (9) the reporting of the results, and (10) the evaluation of threats to the validity of the statistical analysis.
