Details: Your degree program will conclude with a large research project called a Doctoral Study. For this project, you will perform scholarly research on an IT topic that can be applied in an organizational context. It is never too early to begin thinking about potential topics for your Doctoral Study. Even if you have one or more ideas in mind already, it is likely that you will need to revise and refine your topic several times to find one that is appropriate for a Doctoral Study. In this Discussion, you share potential topics and evaluate them for their suitability. You will continue working with potential topics for the remainder of this course and afterwards, in future courses and your first residency.
Focus. Focus Discussions are designed to be the most formal and scholarly Discussions in the course. As such, they are assessed using a detailed grading rubric. You will be graded on the quality of the content of your work, how thoroughly you address the Discussion prompt, and your ability to follow proper APA style and formatting.

Post a response of approximately 350–500 words in which you describe two to three potential Doctoral Study topics that you might be interested in pursuing. Explain what led you to choose these topics. Describe why these topics would be appropriate for a Doctoral Study. Address the scope and potential impacts of the topics as well as the presence or absence of established research on them.
