Please provide an example of both a Type I Error and Type II Error. Why is it that increasing the sample size reduces the probability of a Type II error to an acceptable level. Please discuss.

The Type I error happens when there is a true null hypothesis, but someone decides to make a decision which rejects that hypothesis. This is the reason why this type of error is also known as “not accepting a true null hypothesis”. To avoid this type of error, it’s essential not to ignore them or reject a null hypothesis, which is true. It’s also wrong to conclude that there is an effect when, in a real sense, there is no effect.
