Healthcare ethics constitutes a set of moral principles, values, and beliefs that direct health professionals in providing medical care. It is concerned with the decision-making process that requires careful consideration of the patient’s surrounding environment and the outcome of the decision. Ethics in healthcare are intertwined with morality so that there are a set of principles that direct the way in which decisions are made.
