The definition of popular culture, as defined from the book, is at the very least ambiguous and leaves the audience confused on which one of the different definitions best suits the culture. Firstly, the culture could be defined as a culture favored by many people within the society resonates with the very name accorded to the culture (Storey, 2018). However, the second definition pertaining to high culture classifies popular culture as an inferior culture, one which the public settles for due to its failure to fit into the high culture.
