Yes, the policy will affect my motivation. As a student, I feel free given the freedom to decide either to attend the lecture or not since I am an adult. This control is inappropriate for the adult. Given the freedom, it gives me the desire to learn.

 

Student dislike high level of control, forcing the student to attend lectures is a waste of invaluable time, and it may provide false feedback to the lectures. This makes one feel uncomfortable for the lectures that reward marks basing on class participation rather than once intelligence.  A strict policy may hinder one desire to learn since adult feel motivated when they are given a room to make their own choices.
