It is paramount that nursing is one of the professions that require high integrity and competence. Integrity can merely be defined as the quality of practicing honest, transparency, accountability and being guided by strong moral beliefs and principles. It entails one doing the right thing at the right time even when there is no supervision at all. Every registered nurse must have the virtue of integrity. Nurses have the responsibility of taking care of the patients in hospitals, assisting them in taking medicines as prescribed by the doctors and teaching the patients on how to feed on a balanced diet.
