Meeting Agenda Assignment

Design an agenda and identify (3) things you would incorporate into one of the following types of meetings.
1. Idea Generation Meeting whose ultimate purpose is to come up with ideas of what to do a group presentation on.
2. Coordination of Tasks Meeting whose purpose is to pull together information and assign what person is doing what for the group presentation.
3. Decision-making Meeting whose purpose is to decide among three alternative group presentation topics.
Rubric for Evaluating Meeting Agenda

I will be looking at the following aspects when I grade your Meeting Agenda:

1. Completeness of Information. The time, date, and place of the meeting must be at the top of the agenda; all invitees should be listed by name; the purpose of the meeting must clearly be indicated. (8 pts)
2. Organization. The agenda should be in the order of discussion topic. A time range for each topic should be listed by the topic to help the facilitator keep the meeting on track. A person for each topic should be assigned and listed next to that topic. (7 pts)
3. Follow-up/Next Steps/Next Meeting Date. This should be the last item of the agenda with the facilitator’s name associated with it. A blank table should be included for writing “New Items” that would be appropriate for the follow-up/next meeting that includes spaces for associating names and dates due (10 pts), e.g.,
New Items Action Who Date Due

4. Mechanics. There should not be grammar or spelling errors. (- 1 point per error).
