Question 1

Studies have been conducted over the years over the most effective standards of practice needed to train medical health professionals in research methods. Notable, there has been a research-practice gap largely attributable to the lack of seriousness in conducting a set of evidence-based practices (EBPs). The methods currently being used lag behind in terms of the appropriate research methods to use. In the EBP approach, counseling research entails the use of data-based problem solving model of research (Sheperis, Young & Daniels, 2009).
