The State of Florida Police Recruitment Requirements

A noble course it is, to become a police officer in the state of Florida. It is a great way to serve the nation for an individual looking to join the law enforcement team. While it has been argued that other states such as the Sunshine state offer a serene environment ranging from good weather and a great community, the State of Florida has been known to pay officers relatively well (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2014). The remuneration for a police officer working in the State of Florida is the 4th highest in the United States right after California, New York and Texas (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2014).
