The modern era’s business environment is synonymous with drastic changes within shorts period of time. As a direct result of the prevalence of change, there is a need for organizations to continually adapt in a bid to not only penetrate markets further but to also maintain their market positions. However, it is important to note that organizational change is not rooted in external environmental pressure only but could also be propelled by significant internal factors. In this sense, for organizations change is not just required to improve effectiveness but also for organizational survival (Daniellock Consulting, 2019). Organizational change involves change management through the application of processes, methods, body of knowledge, skills, and experience to bring about the people side of change and therefore increase benefits of an initiative (Daniellock Consulting, 2019). Thereupon, to facilitate organizational change resources must be employed to ensure the stability of the organization is maintained through the process.
