Introduction

“America has a right to the Second Amendment, but the people of America have a right to safety and the prevention of gun violence in their community” (Sheila Jackson Lee). This sentiment from an ordinary American offers the argumentative background of the controversial arm possession policies currently functioning on US soil. It describes the dangerous window created by the Second Amendment of the United States constitution and the opposing right to live under a safe environment. There have been more cases of gun shootings in schools now more than before. With majority of this cause being the looseness of the Second Amendment to allow possession and ownership of personal guns, a policy that is turning the US environment darker with insecurity.
