Why race and safe spaces in general are such a big topics on college campuses?
From Couric’s documentary, it is evident that race and safe spaces are big topics on college campuses. This is because of the frequency of incidents of racism on certain campuses across the United States, thus the need for students to express their views freely without the fear of either explicit or implicit micro-aggressions by other learners. In the documentary, it is evident that Americans are angry with the things taking place in the country.
