Course Objectives

 Review and analyze educational literature pertaining to current trends in early childhood education.

 Discuss professional development issues including early childhood teacher and leadership development and preparation, accreditation, and accountability.

Directions:

1) Save and print the Module 3 Application.

2) Write a 3- to 5-page paper using APA (6th edition) format.

3) Use APA (6th edition) format for the title page, references page, and in-text citations.

4) Compose an introduction and conclusion for your paper.

a. Choose three course articles which describe professional development models.

b. Describe the professional development model you found to be the most appealing.

c. Explain how the model will support your career goals. Give specific examples.

d. State the characteristics you found unappealing about the other two models.

e. Use references in APA (6th edition) format to support your analysis.

5) Follow the directions to submit your final Word or text document.
