Substance abuse
Substance abuse refers to the use of a particular substance for a purpose not intended, and it is no in line with the legal or medical guidelines. Substance abuse can also be used to imply overdosing or taking a drug that has not been prescribed by medical authority. With the increased rate of substance abuse, there has been a rise of awareness against substance abuse worldwide since the effects of drug abuse are far-reaching especially with the increase in addiction rate.
