summarizing and analyzing
Using the parts of this project you’ve already completed, write a paper summarizing and analyzing the papers you read, and comparing them – keeping in mind how science is communicated. One way to think about this assignment is to try to teach me about the topic you started to explore. Remember to include all of the big sections of a primary research paper: tell me about (BUT DO NOT PLAGIARIZE OR USE DIRECT QUOTES!) the introduction/background, the methods, the results, and the conclusions/discussion.
I will be grading you on how clear your language is (including grammar and spelling, plus use of new jargon/vocabulary), whether you explained the primary research paper completely, explained the review properly, explained the news article completely, compared the articles, reported your question and your progress towards answering it, and whether you’ve correctly used citations (APA).

The increased use of oil products by contemporary society will only rise in the coming years due to the high technological transformation around the world. With this increase, I use of petroleum and its products the prevalence for both air and marine pollution promises to skyrocket during either transportation by ship or through breakage of transportation pipes. As a direct result, experts are pushing for environmental control by the petroleum industry to extensively minimize spillages either during transportation or from onshore facilities.
