TED Talk Discussion

What is the speaker’s main argument? Or what is her thesis?

Chimanda Adichie (2009), The Danger of a single story, warns against the misunderstanding of other people by observing how the generations of slanting and stereotypes have dominated the majority of Western Society. An awareness of this aspect is important to contextualize the literature, media and their applications in academic and generally in life. This TED Talk is generally a lesson in challenging these single stories and her personal experience in life as a Nigerian in America with the Nigerian limitations.
