Question 1

The BGP, also referred to as the Border Gateway Protocol is the main routing standard or protocol that is used for the internet. It is used to route traffic across the internet (Jones, 2012). Using BGP makes it easier for a user to change the ISP. This is mainly because it allows the network administrator to join several ISP providers so as to connect to other networks on the internet. BGP is also unique since it has an anti-loop attribute thereby allowing users to easily change the ISP. Through allowing users to change the ISP, people have wider access to the internet since they are in no way restricted by the service providers.
